In scene 5.8 Macbeth is killed by Macduff after they fight. But we can see that Macbeth gets easily scared for he begged for his life. This scene is important because Macbeth gets defeated and it talks about a whole new chapter and future that is about to come. Also this scene wraps the play up leaving us with a moral of how greed can control our lives and determine who we are. 3.What are your reactions to this scene?
I was astonished at the fact that the protagonist had been murdered. It really did show what greed can do to us and how we shouldn't become greedy because the corruption led by greed can really hurt us bad. I also had " this is a realistic play" going through my head because usually the main character either realizes his corruptness or some other good thing happen. 4.What does the character want in this scene?
My character , Malcom wants to find his position of King. 5.What is your character's motivation for doing what he or she does?
Malcom is motivated by the fact of Macbeth who murdered his father and to retrieve his position as king. 6.What obstacles stand in his or her way?
Macbeth but now, no one much. 7.What happens when your character confronts these obstacles?
Macbeth is his obstacle and Macduff kills him. 8.Are there any distinctive elemenets in your character's way of speaking?
Malcom is for good and they way he talks shows us how he will rule righteously.
Student Reflection1. Evaluate the performance of your group. What went well? What didn’t go well?
I think the performance for our group went better than we or at least I have expected. We were worried because of the lack of practice we had and also we did not have one of our group member for practice nor for the performance. But it went well overall because except for that member all the others 2. How well did you contribute to your group?
I think we all did a fair amount of work. I contributed by bringing in props and switching roles. 3. How well did you perform as an individual?
I could have done better. I should have held in my giggle. 4. What could have improved your scene performance?
I think we should not giggle in between and read thoroughly 5. How did the scene performance help you better understand the play.
It gave me a visual view of what happened and the movements helped me understand who was talking to who where as in the book it was only writing so it was confusing to understand.
